With version 1.50.0 Scan2Clipboard has made a big step forward. Two of the new features were especially frequently requested: iCloud sync (iOS and macOS) and crop function for images from the Photos app. Text recognition on images from the Photos app can now be limited to a range With the camera function, you could always crop the area of the text recognition to exclude unwanted parts. This feature (crop) is now finally available with images from the Photos app. This was probably the most requested feature from you! History sync across devices From now on, all scan data stored in History will be synced with your other devices via iCloud Recognized texts are automatically saved in the history With this feature, no text recognition will be lost anymore. To avoid duplicates, the automatic saving checks if the recognized text already exists in the history. Of course, the previous manual function via longpress is still available and the automatic function can be deactivated in the settings. With this version the data is also automatically synchronized to the Scan2Clipboard Helper App for macOS. Hereby all recognized texts can be used directly on the Mac and can be inserted immediately in other programs. Of course, even without this new program on the Mac, the last recognized text is automatically copied to the clipboard for further use. Not new, but still important: Scan2Clipboard does not use any third-party interfaces, servers, advertisements, tracking features or the like. All your data stays on your device or in your secure iCloud. Scan2Clipboard will never evaluate your recognized texts, track your usage behavior or share any data with third parties. If you want to use Scan2Clipboard without minimal restrictions, you can unlock the app as an in-app purchase by paying a small fee and not paying with your data. At Scan2Clipboard you are the customer and not the product! Through this you actively support the further development of this app! In a short video on the Scan2Clipboard YouTube channel, the new features are presented, take a look. Finally, there is only one thing left to say: I wish you a lot of fun with the new version of Scan2Clipboard!

If the lines of the recognized text are not in the correct order, please set the Bug Fix switch in the settings to on. Unfortunately this will lower the recognition quality. Bug report to Apple has already been filed!
