Added a brief onboarding carousel to explain app features
Fixed three issues • Premium trials are now available again. There was a problem preventing new trials being started. • Item prices were sometimes shown using a generic currency symbol (¤). Now, they are always shown with a pound sign (£). • An occasional crash sometimes occurred when app was launched while on the categorised screen. This has been fixed.
Fixed issue with list sharing, which meant some users would see the list as read-only.
Calculate the cost of your shopping to track your supermarket spending. Add prices and see your estimated list total. Prices are remembered for next time. This feature is only available to Premium users.
Improved list sharing. Invites can now be sent via other methods besides Messages, such as WhatsApp and email. Fixed crash that would sometimes occur when opening a shared list invitation.

Bug fixes • Lists can now be deleted from the multi-list screen on iPad • List Refresh button no longer obscures the (..) button on multi-list screen • Stability fixes
• See a notification when someone changes a shared list. Notifications are shown when an item is added, deleted or marked-off†. • A numbered badge appears on the app icon to indicate how many shared lists were updated since you last checked. • New “Delete List” option allows lists to be deleted quickly from the multi-list view. • Hints added to help new users become familiar with how the app works. • Added a “What’s New” screen to introduce new features to existing users. †Notifications are exclusive to Premium users.
• New option to setup sharing when creating a new list. • Added “Getting Started” section to help. • Added Back/Forward buttons to help pages.
See when an item was added or marked-off. Slide the planning list to the right to activate or choose "Show Annotations" from the Sharing Info panel. Tapping on an item in the Activity View will highlight it in the main planning list. See an indicator in the "Lists" menu when one of your shared lists has been changed by another user. A small dot will appear next to the "Lists" menu and the changed list will be visible when viewing all lists. Added accessibility labels for the "Start" and "Clean-up" buttons for use with VoiceOver assistance. Bug fix: occasionally, an item on a shared list would not be updated when another user marked it off. This is now fixed.
Improvements to the reliability of list sharing. If a change was made to a shared list while the app was in the background, the list would sometimes not refresh automatically. This has now been fixed.
Fast and reliable list sharing! Share your list with family and friends and see their changes instantly. Add an item and everyone else will see it on their list. Watch as items are marked-off while your family or friends are shopping. Plus, for this release, the list's name and colour theme are now synchronised too. Not sure who added, deleted, or bought an item? Check the new Activity Log. It shows all changes made to shared lists. Some annoying bugs have been fixed too: • Re-adding an item from the basket view now replaces the marked-off item. In earlier versions, it would add a second item with the same name. • There was a rare but annoying bug that would wrongly evict people from the list. This won't happen now. • If a device hadn’t been opened the app in a week or two, synchronisation would sometimes leave deleted items behind. This is now fixed. Notes: • Changes are automatically synchronised between devices within a couple of seconds. If you’re impatient, pull-down on the list to force a refresh. • Up to 100 people can now share a list (previously limited to five people). • List sharing requires an active network connection to synchronise. If the network isn't available, changes will be stored and sent later. • An iCloud account is required for list sharing. • The old sharing mechanism is still supported in this release, but it will be retired in the future. Please upgrade your lists to the new sharing mechanism as soon as possible. To upgrade, stop sharing the list and re-share it again.
• A new list is now created when accepting a sharing invitation. This makes it simple to share multiple lists with the same person. • The contrast between active and marked-off items on the planning screen has been improved to make it easier to see what has been bought. • Bug fix: When returning an item to the list it will always be returned to the right category. Previously, items were sometimes shown as uncategorised. • Bug fix: Prevented crash that would occur in rare circumstances while changing the name or colour of a category.
• New feature for Premium users: the categorised shopping screen can now be locked to prevent accidental touches. While locked, the list can still be scrolled. Items can be marked-off by holding down the “Unlock” button. • Fixed bug: when renaming a category, the clear button now works to erase the existing name.
Beautiful new app icon
Fixed two bugs introduced in the last major update: • When returning items from the basket view, item are now placed in their original category (previously, items were placed in "Uncategorised" group) • After restarting the app with an existing list of categorised items, the items are now in the correct category from the start (previously, the items were recategorised again and this could cause a slight delay)
Updated App Store screenshots
• Items can now be moved or copied between lists. • The main checklist will now remain active while shopping — it won’t automatically dim and lock. But this can be disabled if you wish (on the shopping screen, press Settings and toggle "Keep Checklist Screen On").
Improved speed of app when using very large lists (with 500+ items)
New features: • List name and colour can now be set when creating a new list. • Long-press (tap and hold) on the “Clean-up” button will select the marked-off items. Choose which ones to delete. All marked-off items will continue to be in the drawer after clean-up. Press the (+) button to access these. • New options added to the selection screen. Tap the (…) button then choose "Select": • "Select All" items. • "Deselect All" items. • "Select Marked" (i.e. crossed-out) items. • "Share or Export" a selection of items to another person, app or device. • Help has been improved. Easier to access and many more entries. • Send a copy of the entire list to another person, app or device. This is useful for printing the list or sending it as a message. The option to synchronise changes to your list with your family or friends is still available. • The "Edit" option has been replaced with a (…) menu. Now easier to access the list management options for sharing, renaming, changing the colour and deleting a list. Bug fixes: • Performance improvements. It is now quicker to: • Open the "Lists" view from the "Planning" view. • Enter the selection mode from the "Planning" view. • The drawer's "Add All" button won't appear if no items in list.
• Add items from other lists. Create a list for items you often buy, for different rooms, cupboards, or for your recipes. • Add an item with just one tap, or add everything from the list using the “Add All” button. • If all items were added by mistake, there is an option to “Undo” and revert the list to its previous state. • The other lists can be ordered alphabetically, by colour, or using their natural order (the order shown on the “Lists” screen). • Crossed-out items will now be replaced when same item is added from the drawer. Press the (+) button to access the drawer (this is only visible if you have previously bought items or have other lists). Bug fixes: • Reduced unnecessary list movement while transitioning to drawer. • Prevent crash if "Edit" button is pressed while drawer is open and no items are in the list.
• Arrange previously bought items by trip, alphabetically, by category, or by how regularly you purchase them. • Choose to prevent tracking when serving ads (This is not relevant to Premium subscription, which doesn’t serve adverts).
