• Support for Live Activities on iOS 16.2 and newer After scheduling an alarm you can keep track of it on your lock screen in real time. Live Activities only work when Glarm is granted access to your location in "Always" mode. This is necessary because the activities have to be updated in background by app and the only way to keep it alive in the background is to constantly monitor your location. If you don't want to use Live Activities you can choose to only allow "While in use" location tracking mode. • Search for alarms In "Alarms" screen you can now use a search bar to quickly find any previously scheduled alarm. You can search by name of the location or by contents of notes. If you enjoy using Glarm please consider writing a short review in the App Store. Another massive update arrived! This time the focus is on enabling non-english speaking users to use Glarm, so new translations are available! Glarm now supports: • Spanish • French • German • Polish Big thanks to awesome testers who helped correct some language mistakes. Also in this update: – Fixed alarms not updating across iCloud devices – You can now cancel the alarm by opening its detail page and pressing the "Cancel" button
After a year of being available on the App Store, Glarm receives its biggest update ever! v3 is much quicker, even less power-hungry, lets you schedule recurring alarms and comes with awesome Widgets! Let's quickly list the changes: • Schedule recurring alarms (finally!) • Multiple widgets (also finally!) • iCloud sync • Bigger and less power hungry notification received after entering the region • New default categories • Manual input of the radius Setting small values, like 0,5km, was very annoying when using slider. You can now input the radius via keyboard. Please consider leaving a review if you find Glarm useful. Thanks!
Thanks for using Glarm! • Fixed sounds not downloading on iOS 14 devices Please consider leaving a review, every opinion counts and helps with introducing Glarm to more travellers!
• Under-the-hood changes and improvements
This update brings custom categories for alarms! Categories replace the Favourites mechanism from before and make saving and organizing commonly used alarms easier. Also in this update: • Fixed widget not working on some devices • Fixed some custom sounds not playing after being downloaded
Glarm 2.0 is here, woohoo! This, dare I say, huge update brings some awesome stuff, like: • Rich notifications - Monitor your location and see alarm's details right in received notification • Today widget - Do the same stuff as in notification, but at any time you'd like to. Widget can be accessed in Today Centre, even without unlocking your phone! • Support for Dynamic Type - Text will now resize if you're using larger fonts throughout the system • German translation - Danke, Justyna!
Thanks everyone for such amazing feedback after initial release, I honestly did not expect such high interest and I'm blown away by your reactions! I've worked hard for last few days and nights to improve Glarm and include the improvements you've asked for, so here's the changelog: • Notes for remembering what to do after entering the region • Distance suggestions: when you move around and change the zoom on the map, Glarm will suggest 5 distances based on current zoom level, so you can quickly choose one instead of using the slider! • It is also now much easier to set a small distance • Switchable length units: choose between meters and miles • You can now delete past alarms by swiping them left in the list screen Glarm is now a freemium app, but what does it mean? It is free to download, however some features require making a purchase. If you were using Glarm before the transition you will keep all features unlocked without any costs, until you uninstall the app!
