New: now you can follow a website right from Safari (or another browser). Press share, then find Feeeed, then tap ‘follow.’ (You can still add to your Reading List from this screen, too.)
New source: Random Wikipedia. See random wikipedia articles in your feed, if you want. No worries if not. Also some bug fixes obviously. More soon!

New icon! Plus typography and color improvements. Native view for Reddit comments and videos -- much smoother and easier to view! Translation: translate AI summaries into the language of your choice; quick access to Google Translate for translating full articles via the Share menu. Chronological but unviewed feed: A new option for how to sort your feed. It's like a chronological list, but only shows unseen stuff. Find it in Settings. New source 'feeeed updates' to keep tabs on what's new in the app.

There have been some service changes so the feeds are not quite as nice anyway, but at least they work again! - You can now paste threads and mastodon URLs into the search box to subscribe to them using the nice new ActivityPub support - Now you can share photo flashbacks - Better handling of feeds with incorrectly dated items - I know notifications have been flaky recently — they should be better now!

GOOGLE NEWS FEEDS: follow any keyword to see the latest stories. search a keyword in the search box to get started. ACTIVITYPUB FEEDS: follow people on the fediverse. Now you can follow people from threads, mastodon, micro.blog and other federated social networks. just type their handle (like @nate_loved_an_image@threads.net) into the search box. (Note: Threads users must have federation enabled for you to follow them) SMOOTHER SCROLLING in the feed! BUG FIXES for youtube, VoiceOver, etc

"I wish my phone sent me more notifications in the middle of my day!" — some of you, apparently. By popular request, you can now sign up for PUSH NOTIFICATIONS when your favorite feeds update. Completely optional, of course. Sign up for notifications when subscribing to a source, or tap the source's name and press the Bell icon. Not supported for all kinds of feeds. (For example: you can't sign up for notifications foremail newsletters because your email data never leaves your own phone.)
- NEW: customize your reader mode in Settings. Choose fonts, sizes, color schemes and more to design your perfect reader view. - Your Reading List now syncs via iCloud - You can follow websites from the in-app browser - Accessibility improvements - Cards without images display a few more lines of text - Contrast improvements when using the gray tint color - A darker dark theme by default
- Auto dark mode: when viewing light websites in dark mode, we’ll automatically turn them into dark mode. It’s not perfect but it’s nice! • Introducing Explore: a new tab to discover feeds from across the web. Browse and follow your favorites! If you don't like the tab, go to Settings -> Customize Tab Bar to hide it. • Bug fixes, visual enhancements and performance improvements, as always.
Folders: make group of feeds. browse them, pin them to your tab bar, share them, and get recommendations for related feeds Multi Cards: now, when you have many new stories from a single publication, you might see three stories on a single card. It’s a nice mix between spacious cards and compact mode. (If it’s not your thing, there’s an option to turn it off) Compact mode: a more colorful, cleaner design. It’s also been renamed: you can now find it in settings under “Display Stories as… List” Link opening: You can now choose between opening links in Feeeed’s in-app browser, Apple’s in-app browser or jumping to your phone’s default browser app Simpler settings screen Reading list: if you have reading list suggestions in your feed, you can long-press them to remove them. SYNC keeps your subscriptions in sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac. On by default for new users. If you're an existing user, turn it on in the in-app settings. CHOICES: Two new options to make your feed behave how you want. Optionally Read Later reminders, and gray out seen items. VISUALS: the app looks a little nicer :) EASIER TO SUBSCRIBE: the Subscribe view is cleaner and makes it easier to discover all the things you can follow. Plus, you can now easily search and follow MASTODON accounts, TUMBLR blogs and SUBSTACK newsletters. BETTER SEARCH lets you search for a website and subscribe to it, or search all your stories.
