Hello there! PowerTimer 3.10 is here with an update on the Widgets. Now you can pin the “Recently Used” timer on the Home Screen or your Lock Screen. The widget will dynamically show you the timer that you last started. This update also fixed some issues with UI and localization. Hope you’ll enjoy this update. As always, please feel free to reach out for any feedback or suggestions.
Version 3.8.1 fixed an issue when starting timer with Shortcuts. Previously, PowerTimer 3.8 brought you support for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Plus, we added Lock Screen widgets on iOS 16—now you can access your timers directly from there. Hope you’ll enjoy this update!
PowerTimer 3.8 brings you support for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Plus, we are giving you widgets for the timers on the Lock Screen with iOS 16—now you can access your timers directly from there. Also included are some bug fixes and optimization. Hope you’ll enjoy this update!
Hello there! PowerTimer 3.6 brings a few bug fixes and some new ringtones. New ringtones: boxing bells! * Choose from single, double or triple chimes for boxing bell sounds. These ringtones are a powerful way to start or pause your HIIT workout, or for… well… boxing! * Normalized volumes for our existing ringtones, so that they have approximately the same level of volume. * The boxing ringtones are a free update for PowerTimer Plus users. Enjoy! Bugs fixed: * “Edit Steps” button when editing complex timer routines might have text truncated. Fixed. * “Edit Steps” button might not switch to “Done” when editing the timer steps. Fixed. * App might unexpectedly crash or silently stop in the background. Fixed, and switching between apps should now be faster and more battery friendly. Hope you’ll enjoy this update. As always, please feel free to reach out for any feedback or suggestions.
Hello there! PowerTimer 3.5 fixed some localization issues. It also prepares the app for more languages that may release in the future.
Hello there! PowerTimer 3.4 fixed a few bugs that involved timers running on iPhone XS and earlier devices.
Version 3.3 fixed some issue when editing complex timer routines. This version also improved UI efficiency. Now the app runs more efficiently in full screen mode.
PowerTimer 3.2 gives you the freedom to manipulate time when the timer is running. This gives you a few extra minutes when your dish needs a minute of extra simmering, or when you need to skip/repeat a set of workout. You can do these in Full Screen mode— * Step forward or backward when timer is running or paused * Seek forward or back by 15 seconds (or 60 seconds) when timer is running or paused * Control buttons automatically dismisses themselves after 5 seconds of inactivity PowerTimer 3.2 also adds app state restoration. It’s the backstage hero that gives you the impression that PowerTimer never quits in the background. On iPad, if you put a timer in Split Screen, PowerTimer always jumps back to this timer—until you swipe up to close this “window”. Note that PowerTimer doesn’t actually run in the background. It only added support for iOS and iPadOS app restoration features to provide this seamless experience. PowerTimer 3.2 has a few bug fixes: * Timer presets on first launch had “dishwasher” running at 3 minutes and 30 seconds. No dishwasher that we knew of could finish a wash cycle that fast. Fixed. * Full screen view may appear clipped on 12.9-inch iPad Pro models (all generations) and 11-inch iPad Pro models. Fixed, and now PowerTimer provides a vertical layout with the same extra large text and buttons. * Some labels and buttons were not properly localized in Chinese. Fixed.
This version allows you to export your timers for backup. You can also import timers from a previous export. Also included are bug fixes: - Notifications were not properly sent on some rare occasions. Fixed - Typos on certain texts. Fixed - Timer steps did not properly update when you add a new step. Fixed - Timers no longer show a meaningless "1 step" when there is only one section, one step and one repetition
Version 3.0.1 fixed some issues with Siri, Shortcuts and Widgets: * Fixed an issue that would crash the system when you try to add a new timer. * Fixed an issue that would prevent the list of timers from showing up, when configuring a widget or when selecting a timer in Shortcuts app. * Fixed localization issues with Widgets and Shortcuts actions.
Here comes PowerTimer 3.0, a major update that brings true power to your timers. >> Introducing Timer Sections Back in the old 2.0 days, there were timer and timer steps. Now there’s something in the middle—timer section! Each timer section can be looped independently, and you can chain together timer sections. Now you can do Tabata with 8 loops in the middle, and your warm-up and cooldown on either side. This ensures your most complex routine fits into PowerTimer. Your existing timers will convert into single-section timers, but you can edit and add more to them now. >> New URL Scheme Accompanying the new timer section setup, PowerTimer’s new URI scheme is more scalable than ever. A new sharing feature is coming soon after this, so that you can share what you create with family and friends. >> Focus Mode support Introduced in Version 2.6, PowerTimer can deliver notifications about timer expiry when you have Focus Mode enabled in iOS 15. To do that, go to Settings app → Focus, pick your Focus Mode, and enable “Time Sensitive” in Allowed Apps. >> Refinements * Localization is refined in many places throughout the app, from the main app to widgets, and to notifications. * Some busy elements are hidden from plain sight when you are just getting started. This happens when you open the sidebar, create a new timer, edit a timer group, or pick an icon. * We restructured code base, migrated data model, and re-created some of the data backbones. You should not notice a thing at the moment, but this will allow us to deliver more stuff in the near future. >> So many bugs crushed * Fixed an issue that prevented iOS and iPadOS widgets to configure properly (or to crash the Home Screen when you attempt to edit a widget) * Fixed many UI glitches throughout the app, mostly with the full screen timer view, and with the timer configuration view -------------- PowerTimer 3.0 is a free update for those who bought PowerTimer Plus as an in-app purchase. If you are using the app for free, you can continue to do so and use what was available to you before. Hope you’ll enjoy this update! As always, please feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions or feedback.

Fixed. >> Timer didn’t properly update when duration was changed in configuration. Fixed. >> If Power Timer Pro upgrade was purchased in timer configuration, the lock symbols on colour selection buttons wouldn’t disappear. Fixed. >> Timers were not immediately added when using the welcome wizard. Fixed. >> Timer steps were able to move beyond the timer steps area (even though they would be moved back by the app). Fixed. >> When reordering groups, your group were able to move into pre-defined groups. Fixed. >> Timer countdown might skip a tick (very rare). Fixed. >> Other minor fixes such as wrong colour or image used in less-than-obvious UI elements.
Power Timer 2.3 brings support for the new iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models. It also contains many bug fixes. Bug fixes: >> Opening the app to a certain timer full-screen might cause the app to crash. Fixed. >> The app might become unresponsive when waking from the background. Fixed. >> The user might accidentally dismiss timer or group configuration sheet. Fixed — now the app will prompt for confirmation. >> The sidebar appeared weird on iPhones or on iPads in split-screen mode. Fixed. >> Some UI elements were misaligned.
