New OS? No problem, Signals for HomeKit has some great new features to go with it! - Interactive Widgets - your Signals can run seamlessly from a Widget without needing to launch the app! - More options - the Small Widget now supports up to two Signals, and we've introduced a brand new Extra Large Widget on iPad, support up to 16 Signals (or even just 1, reeeeaaaalllly big one!) - Standby mode works GREAT when mounted in the kitchen (done making dinner, just quickly swipe to the Signals Widget, and hit the 'Dinner Time' Signal! iPad Widgets are awesome on a wall mounted HomeKit controller, too!

Minor bug fixes
- Fixed some layout issues - Adjusted some color issues with Meross bulbs (if you're getting weird colors, let me know!)
Still the best way to communicate at home - without all the shouting!
Mostly bits and bobs in this one - here's a few headlines: - Create Siri Shortcuts from your Signals with the new 'Add To Siri' button - Fix a a few other minor bugs
Thanks for the great response to our latest update! This time through, we're addressing an oversight with our latest UI update -- sometimes when you ran a Signal, you can't tell if it's still running! There are now a few indications throughout the app - hope it helps! While we were in there, we finally got sick of seeing a bug that's been around... forever. The tiny 'close' button on the Edit Effect sheet is finally normal size. Kinda embarrassed that one took so long...
The response to our iOS 15 update has been awesome - thanks! This release includes some cleanup, and a nice update to some of our UI controls - including our gorgeous Widgets!
- New Spectrum Effect! Now you can get attention by transitioning across a spectrum of colors! - Completely re-written effects engine makes for more reliable, smoother transitions - Running your Signals is now even easier - one click, no matter what platform you're on! - Choose from even more images to make your Signals quickly recognizable
- Found and fixed a subtle issue that effected some bulbs (Meross specifically, but probably others) - reliability should be MUCH improved with these devices! - Addressed a few crashes - please, please contact me if you experience any! - Updated support links
- Turns out that HomeKit devices sometimes get switched off or plugged -- who knew? Well we did, of course, and we've always shown the 'No Response' message, but now we can give you a little more detail in the Settings. We also detect changes in these errors more efficiently, so if you notice an error and then plug in your lamp, Signals will see this, and recover more quickly. - In related news, we fixed a bug that caused an error in your Siri Shortcuts if any of the lamps in your Signal were offline for any reason -- we can't bring the lamp online for you, but we can at least make sure the Shortcut flashes everything else, and completes properly! - In unrelated news, we noticed a crash that a few of you have been experiencing, and we squashed it flat. Sorry about that!
Using a bunch of Signals to communicate at home (without the shouting) is easier than ever - now you can add a color to each Signal, so you can find the right one at a glance New Widgets! - Create a Widget of any size, and see up to 8 (yes, 8!) Signals at once - Take advantage of those new Signal colors, right on your Home Screen - Customize the design, and make your Home Screen 'aesthetic' (hey kids, did I use that right?)
Home Flash has become 'Signals for HomeKit'! Where do we even begin to list the changes!? - All new UI - Support for iPad, Siri Shortcuts and Widgets - Create 'Signals' to flash multiple lights, and customize how to finish the effects! - More effect options, including 'Pulse' and 'Hold' - find the effect that works best for your lights! - Not flashing long enough to get attention? Change the duration of your effects! - Even more color options!
Happy iOS 13! Are you ready for Dark Mode? Because we've got some Dark Mode for you! We think it looks great, but tell us what you think on Twitter: @HomeMadeAutoma1
Our most requested feature is finally here -- now you can use COLOR to get the attention of your family members! Mix, match, and experiment - assign different meanings to different colors, or just get a little whimsical! - Time to go to school? Easy "Hey Siri, Time to Go" can flash the kids' lights green! - Just found a mess in your living room? "Hey Siri, Get Them Now!" can flash red! - Have a sports rivalry with the neighbor? "Hey Siri, Home Run!" can flash the porch lights your favorite teams' colors! Store a different Siri Shortcut for each one, or combine them with the Shortcuts app. The options are nearly endless - have fun!
Minor improvements here, minor improvements there. We're doing some prep work for the next big thing!
A bug was discovered that cause some major issues on old iPhones -- so we opened the front door, and shooshed it out, all nice-like!
Home Flash is now compatible with the Home Pod! Why bother raise your phone or wrist to summon your kids to dinner, when you can just speak the command into the air! Siri will now happily answer your requests directly in the background, making your summoning commands even faster! Not only that, but it's now much simpler to work with the Shortcuts App to flash multiple lights together - just add any combination of lights to your Shortcut, and you're off and running!
Apple Watch: So your hands are buried in soapy water while doing the dishes, and you just noticed that the kids didn't clean up the living room like they were supposed to? Don't waste your voice, and certainly don't dig your phone out of your pocket -- just flash their lights directly from your wrist, without wasting a moment! Home Flash now supports the Apple Watch, for even faster summoning powers!
Not sure where the kids are in the house, but you want them to come downstairs for dinner? No problem - just flash the lights in their room, in the playroom and in the basement AND send them a text, all with a single command! With the help of the Shortcuts app, you can flash any combination of rooms you want - even all of them!
