Hey HomeLights users! I’ve been hard at work, and I’m thrilled to show you what's new in this latest update. Trust me, there’s some pretty cool stuff waiting for you. Widgets: - Introducing a new small LockScreen Widget: a gauge displays the room's current brightness and allows up to 3 configurable actions. Execute actions like increasing/decreasing brightness, toggling lights, or refreshing state using invisible buttons (from top to bottom). Configure these actions by editing the widget. - Refined Remote LockScreen Widget colors for better readability on light backgrounds. - Refactored widgets code for improved performance. HomeKit: - Added support for more devices. Due to the changes required for this, you'll need to redo your device blacklisting and reordering (sorry for the inconvenience). I'm all ears for your feedback, so don’t hesitate to reach out if something’s amiss or if you’ve got ideas to share. Enjoying the app? Here are some exciting changes! Now that I've squashed the initial release issues, I've started integrating new stuff. - Interactive Widgets: With iOS 17 revamping widgets, this HomeLights update introduces an interactive widget. Place it on your HomeScreen, LockScreen, or even the new StandBy mode. What's cooler? You can adjust your lights without launching the app! And, just like the old widget, this one also uses the Room Detection feature to display your current room. - Enhanced Temperature Control: Your feedback has been invaluable! Lighting temperature is paramount, and I've made it even more accessible. Both temperature and color now have dedicated buttons and presets, streamlining your adjustments. Want precision? Tap the temperature value in the wheel to manually set your room's lighting to the Kelvin value of your choice. - What's New Screen: Stay in the loop! After major updates, a new "What's New" screen will pop up, so you're always aware of the latest enhancements, especially after automatic updates. - Bug fixes and improvements. Thank you for your continuous feedback. I genuinely hope you'll enjoy these changes. More exciting updates are on the horizon! If you can spare a moment, I'd be thrilled if you left a review on the App Store to share your thoughts on HomeLights with others. Your support goes a long way!
