—Icons! The next time you're in DetailsPro making your newest masterpiece, you'll find it's easier to navigate around your design. We added small icons that tell you what type of element you're looking at, which are especially helpful if you've, for example, already renamed an HStack from "Horizontal Stack" to "Card Container"
This release is full of small improvements to the design experience. We've got a long list of small bugs and nits that we're working through, and this release is one of those "ah" moments of relief getting some of these things fixed. Let's take a look, starting with one very fun improvement! – Designers using their iPhones, rejoice! Our design canvas now fully supports native pinch-to-zoom and dragging around so you can move your design on screen naturally, quickly, and easily. This was a large refactor under the hood that improved the canvas across all DetailsPro platforms. We're still dialing in the preferences around it. Let us know what you think, especially about "Zoom to Fit", "Zoom to Fill", and "Zoom to 100%". – TabView waiters, rejoice! We've added code export for TabView (finally) and Picker (finally) for DetailsPro Premium users. – JPEG/PNG export (come on, image exporters rejoice? Didn't feel as strong) is now much faster and less buggy. – Added Cut as an option to Copy/Paste for modifiers – Added Copy/Paste as an option for sub designs in a file – Added an alignment option to the Background Image modifier – Added missing code export for the Tint modifier – Fixed bugs around syntax highlighting code in some edge cases – Fixed inconsistencies between animation times for changes in different parts of the DetailsPro UI – Temporarily removed Swift Playgrounds 4 export. We're hoping to bring this back later in the year.

Minor bug fixes for our big recent release: Design and test widgets with DetailsPro! Now that your widget designs can be placed live onto your Home Screen, we've added several new features to make designing widgets a breeze. - Add a widget design to your Home Screen by adding a new DetailsPro widget and then configuring the widget to use any specific design. The list of designs is automatically scoped to your designs that use a widget template size and you can pick from any of your versions within the same file. We've added a new Widget tab to DetailsPro that allows you quickly find your existing widget designs and creates a widget template with all sizes added when you create a new file. A new "Design Template" widget acts as a reference guide by detecting and displaying the common size areas of widgets on your particular device and configuration. You can use this template reference to get the right dimension you might be looking for to make your design just right. ContainerRelativeShape has also been added to the list of available SwiftUI views to design with. ContainerRelativeShape is useful for widget designs because it will give you a perfect-match corner radius and is great for use with Masks in widgets. - The first of our new monthly SwiftUI template packs has dropped in this update to celebrate our new widget features. "April '25: Art Collection" features several new free and premium templates with an art theme and common layouts that are great starting points for widgets of apps in many categories. If you have DetailsPro Premium, you can access the premium templates. Each month when we add a new template pack, all previous template packs will still be available. We're excited for the library of collections to grow! Each month will also have its own theme. - Lastly, we've made extensive performance updates that result in faster load times and better responsiveness for designers with large libraries of hundreds of designs.

Fixed a bug that was causing the paywall to stay open in some situations.
—New! Seeing the SwiftUI code that comes out of your designs is more enjoyable with new syntax highlighting. Learn about each part of your design and how it translates in less time than before.
—New! Design with fewer taps thanks to new interactions when adding elements and modifiers. Now, when you add a modifier the inspector automatically appears—a small but mighty improvement. In our next update, we're continuing on this road with interaction improvements when working with Overlay, Background, and Mask.
Added a FAQ for live prototypes and appearances, fixed a bug for macOS live preview. From our just-released big update: DetailsPro for iOS 18 adds several new highly-requested features that are game-changers for designers on Apple platforms. - Prototyping has come to DetailsPro (and this is only the beginning). Use any of your devices, even multiple at a time, with the new Preview Device button to instantly preview your prototype live with true platform and device-specific appearance. This means you can design on your Mac and have your iPhone open and instantly you can see how everything translates. Or flip society's expectations on their heads by designing on your iPhone and previewing live on your Mac. Or, use the device you have in-hand! Which is going to be especially fun considering... - The #1 request since the first day DetailsPro was released in 2020 is here today: Available with DetailsPro Premium you can now create incredibly detailed designs with support for essential tools such as NavigationStack, Lists, Forms, Buttons, Toolbars, Tab Views, and more. These new advanced elements, paired with our prototyping features like Preview Device, make DetailsPro incredibly powerful right at your fingertips. Even if you're on the go, you can use DetailsPro on your iPhone to create a whole List + NavigationStack + Detail View prototype and hit play to see it on your device. It's so fun. - To bring SwiftUI to even more people and make this power to create more accessible, we have a new, low price and have extended unlimited designs to all users, even those on DetailsPro Free. We hope you use this tool to have fun, to create beautiful designs, to learn SwiftUI, and to grow from there. - iOS 18 support also means we've tested and improved compatibility, performance, and support throughout for everything from SF Symbols to Tab Views. Plus, we've got a lot more to come this iOS 18 season. This is a big release, so there are naturally going to be some holes and bugs to find. If you find anything, please give us an email at detailspro@funfocus.app. Enjoy!

—visionOS! Create beautiful SwiftUI designs perfected for visionOS on the Apple Vision Pro. DetailsPro now supports this new platform with an updated interface, new features, and new templates all at no extra cost. DetailsPro for visionOS is already included in your universal purchase. —New! Your existing SwiftUI designs automatically appear on DetailsPro for visionOS and are automatically compatible. See how your designs change when system backgrounds are glass materials, and the color of primary text is white, all without making a single change. That's the beauty of smart design with SwiftUI and DetailsPro. —New! Only on visionOS, See-Through Previews are a new way to design in DetailsPro. You can turn off the canvas glass and see your design floating in the environment as you design it. New design templates (with more to come) include a visionOS window with ornament tabs and a visionOS music player window. —New! The Glass Background modifier allows you to quickly switch between different mask shapes and corner radii. Pair this modifier with the Overlay modifier to create beautiful layered designs where each surface has its own visionOS glass background. —Improved! Design thumbnails on all platforms now render with better preview sizing so you see more of your design in each thumbnail. —Improved! Work on highly complex files (150 elements or more) with many images (100 images or more) without skipping a beat.
