Version 2.0 uses a new algorithm which fuses raw sensor data to extract more details in darker areas. You should notice sharper overall photos and improved highlights recovery. Since it requires raw sensor data, this algorithm will only be used on cameras which supports RAW captures(all cameras support raw except front cameras and ultra wide cameras).
-Added an error alert when the permission to use camera is not allowed -Squashed a few bugs
Bug fixes.
Added support for TIFF image which is a lossless format suitable for post processing.
-Final image can now be zoomed in results screen -Manual white balance button now rotates in landscape mode
Fixed a crash which occurred sometimes during photo processing
-Reduced watermark size -Added a manual white balance tool which allows to configure the desired tint/temperature before taking a shot. It can be very useful when dealing with scenes with colored light sources.
Better handling of photos library permission
-Added tripod mode When tripod mode is activated, BlackSight will use the maximum exposure duration allowed by the camera hardware. For iPhone XR and above, the maximum duration is 1 second but this cannot be used handheld because it might produce blurry photos. Since shooting at 1 second shutter speed is very sensitive to handshake, a tripod is required for this mode. All iPhones released before iPhone XR are limited to 1/3 seconds of maximum exposure duration. Hence using tripod mode on such devices will not have any effect. As a workaround, the app has an experimental processing for iPhone X/8/8+/SE 2 which will be used in dark environments when turning on tripod mode. For iPhone 6s/SE 1, enabling this mode will produce in better results for dark scenes. For iPhone 7/7+/6S+ it will not have any effect.
